No matter what your thoughts are on Tesla, Elon Musk or the Cybertruck (which I still think looks remarkably like Lara Croft’s polygon boobs) it’s hard not to be impressed with the latest teaser video.

If you can’t be bothered pressing play, what you’re missing is the tri-motor “Cyberbeast” variant outperforming a Porsche 911 in a drag race… while towing a 911.
If you want this car, it’ll cost $99,990 USD (around $150,000 AUD) and you’ll have to live in America. For the money you’ll get 845 horsepower and an astonishing acceleration of 0-100km/hr in 2.7 seconds. Blistering.
But while Tesla has started making deliveries of the Cybertruck in the US, there doesn’t seem to be any plan to bring the vehicle to Australia. The Tesla Australia website currently has no option for Australian orders, only a “more information” button which adds people to a mailing list.
